I really need Your Grace

Wow~ Easter is coming and Good Friday is just a few minutes away! Haha have been sms-ing my contacts for the upcoming matthew care group...but no confirmation so far. Hmm but as I was sms-ing them to ask them out, I just realise how much I need God's grace in my life. When contacts is able to go out with us, it is not just about how fun we are or how well we are able to relate with them. But its really His Grace upon us that He allows it to happen.

As I think back on my past SOWing experience, I realise that I took that grace for granted and now I know how much I needed it to go through everyday life. There can be one thousand and one reasons for them to reject us, but there is only 1 reason for them to respond to us -- God allows it to happen.

Thank You my Father, for letting me have this revelation...

Have been really lazy to update this past week...LOL anyway yeah it has been a week since I came back from camp! I really learnt alot from it! It was a great time of fellowshipping...the crazy things that we do! (Can look at video I posted on facebook!) and learning about the Word of God! This camp was like a retreat for me, where we were away from the hustle and bustle of city life...Thank God, I was able to meet most of my objectives! Man can speak a thousand words but nothing beats experiencing a touch from God~

Thank You God for placing that burden in my heart again even though I haven't been faithful to your callings~

Yeah anyway fast forward to yesterday! Went to Serene's house to help her pack her stuffs as she is moving house soon...lol when we (cindy, cm and me) were helping her to pack, you can literally find money at every corner of her house! LOL! but what really left an impression on me was Cindy's sweet spirit and her spirit of excellence! Even after we have pack everything into the boxes and was watching TV, she was busy sweeping up the dust and clearing the odds and pieces left on the floor! If I am a guy, I would want to marry her! LOL~

Ok even though it is abit abrupt, I shall end here~ HAHA

Camp IS COMING!!!

Woohoo! Camp is coming~ another time for us to refresh and equip ourselves with the Word of God! Really excited for this upcoming camp. The workshops are very interesting!!! Wish I can go to all of them. LOL Had a mini prayer meet with caregroup today. I feel very blessed by it.

Afterwards, me mag and shuh fen went shopping for our theme night clothes. Oh man! its not easy to find some moulin rougeish clothes. We practically walked the whole of Far East and Bugis just to find an outfit that suits the theme...but thank God we are happy with our buys! Lol~

Went out to watch Marley & Me with a contact - Grace. The movie was quite ok lah...but not as nice as my expectation. Lol don't understand why people cry after watching the movie...maybe I am quite hard-hearted. Haha

After movie, we went window-shopping from marina sq to suntec! There were alot of people, I guess it is due to the IT fair. Reached home at around 10pm...am completely shagged! Izit because I am getting old...or I haven really exercise for very long. My feet were aching when I reach home and I wasn't even wearing heels. Lol!

Not sure why, but nowadays I prefer to stay at home than go out if I have a choice...even though there is not much to do at home (other than housework). Haha! This is completely the opposite of how I would feel in the past, where I can stay out late into the wee hours.

Random Thoughts...

Oops! have not really been faithful to blog...just realise that this is my first blog of year 2009! Yikes!!! what have I been doing? Haha anyway just read a sister's blog...her recent post really makes me feel burden for her...but I really admire her courage to blog out her innermost feelings for everyone to see.

Wish I can do the same too.

But I guess deep in my heart, I am still afraid of how other people view me. Especially my leaders, shepherd and sheep. I don't like the feeling of being vulnerable...probably it is a form of self protection, from not getting hurt again by people whom I care about.

Last 2 weeks, I dreamt about a verse saying that 'my sins will be revealed'. When I woke up, it really freaks me out. Maybe this is something that God is trying to tell me? But my shepherd told me that when God reveals, He is not trying to shame us...but rather give us a chance for restoration and to reconcile back with Him. God is a merciful God!

Anyway on a lighter note...Vivian was baptise on 1st March 2009!!! Her baptism name is Annabelle which means LOVE! Here's a beeaaauuutifuull picture of me and her~~

Sacrifices

Really have to sacrifice alot of things this few weeks. Time to spend with family, time to fellowship with my cg, time to meet up my sheep, my sleeping time...Haha one thing in common is to sacrifice my time to serve in ministry. Was looking at photos that Kalyne sent. Haha saw that my care group members was there taking photos with the different props that Deco team has come up with. Haiz wasn't able to join them in the photo taking...so sad~~Haven been able to squeeze time out to meet my sheep too..haiz sorry sheepo! Will meet up with ya soon!

Some times I know in my head that there are things I need to sacrifice, things I need to surrender but within my heart there will always be a tinge of unwillingness to do so. God please be greater in me that I may become less...Take away my selfishness and self-centeredness...in whatever I do, I can continue to glorify you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Poly-DINS first service

Woohoo...just had our FIRST Poly-DINS service!! First time leading my MM team. Really thank God for this experience...Haha though reheresal was quite "chui" but thank God we manage to pull this service off successfully abeit some error here and there. LOL! Really thank God for using me in ministry though I could never fathom why. I believe it is really by His Grace~ Thank God for my team members (Pei Qi, Pu Yu, Aileen, Karryn, Jason, Rusty, Josephine, Cindy) who remain calm under stress when I was going to have a break down (internally). Lol~ Thank God its all over!! Yeah recently just fall in love with this song "What can I do". Really love the chorus...as it sings of what I feel.

God is an amazing God! I have such a wonderful testimony that I can't help but blog it straight away~ Dropped my phone just now and could not call out or sms anybody at all! Scare the shit out of me cos how am I going to contact anybody or vice versa if my phone spoil at this crucial moment with christmas and everything...kept on trying to fix my phone but to no avail :(

Until I say a prayer in Jesus name and immediately I was able to call out to my earthly dad! The effect is so instantaneous! Mwahahahahahahaha~~ Thank You God!!!

Have been working my ass off since morning...finally I can take a breather to do my own stuff...Haha actually still got some work for me but going to do them after lunch...Haha don't know why but suddenly I have got a urge to continue my blog...lol think it will be another 3 mins kind of things so actually kind of pei fu people who can consistantly update their blog...Haha if you haven notice I changed blogskin which I absolutely love it! The grunchy kind of feel~

Yesterday came in to work in the afternoon...cos I took the morning off to sleep! Haven been getting enough sleep the past few days and yesterday was really my stretching point...Been meeting up with Ah be to do a flash for our first polydins service...Really thank God for her...cos she is like doing almost 80% of the work...lol! Ytd morning I still attitude her...cos we have been working through the night and due to lack of sleep I really don't have the energy to talk or smile...Haha also want to thank God for chia chia min who let us use her house to do our stuff...because of it she didn't really get a good sleep...(cos she is msning the whole night) lol! In the evening met up with mini cg to have dinner with contact Natalie~ Had fun chatting with her and fellowshipping with mini cg members! When I reach Kovan mrt called my dad to pick me up cos don't want to waste 70cents to take bus home (cheapo me)...lol but in the end I went with him to fetch my mom after her work. On our way there, I pluck out the courage to invite my dad to our christmas service...haha but sad to say he could not make it as he is going to malaysia to attend a wedding dinner...haiz...But I am still gonna pray for my family salvation!!! Will be meeting up a contact on friday for dinner and also to invite her for our christmas svc!! Keeping my fingers cross that she is able to come for it!!
